Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Schedule: 4 days/week, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (24 hrs/week)
Status: Regular employee with full benefits
About the Company & the Role:
Data I/O is a global electronics technology company specializing in advanced device programming and security provisioning systems for automotive, industrial, IoT, and other embedded electronics markets. Data I/O is in the midst of an exciting transformation. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the day-to-day HR fundamentals and partner with leadership as we modernize our people operations. This is a hands-on, senior-level role for an HR professional who wants meaningful impact, predictable hours, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Own core HR operations: compensation, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, training, compliance
Serve as primary HR point of contact for employees and managers
Partner closely with our PEO on benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee relations
Support HR systems and process modernization initiatives
Qualifications:
8+ years HR generalist or HR Manager experience
Direct experience working in a PEO environment (Insperity, TriNet, ADP, etc.)
Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, recruiting, training, and employee relations
Able to operate independently in a small to mid-sized organization
Lives in the Redmond / Eastside area and able to work onsite

A senior HR operator with PEO depth, strong execution discipline, and a modern, innovative mindset who can run clean HR fundamentals while helping modernize and scale the function in a transforming organization.
Core Experience & Expertise
8+ years of progressive experience in HR as a Senior HR Generalist or HR Manager
Direct, hands-on experience working within a PEO environment (Insperity, TriNet, ADP TotalSource, or similar)
Deep working knowledge of:
Organizational & Leadership Partnership Skills

Proven ability to independently own day-to-day HR operations in a small to mid-sized organization
